Meet the Team

Jonathan Kopelovich, MD

PEDIATRIC OTOLARYNGOLOGIST

I am a board certified otolaryngologist, focused on general ear, nose, and throat medical problems. In addition, I specialize in complex pediatric otolaryngology and have extensive experience in airway, craniofacial and ear surgery. I strongly believe in a collaborative holistic approach in caring for every child.

Originally from Florida, I graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. I taught preschool and then lived in Israel prior to attending Jefferson Medical College. I spent an additional year at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia devoted to cochlear implant research in children. After completing residency at the University of Iowa, my family and I moved to Denver for a fellowship year in pediatric ENT at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.

I live on Mercer Island with my wife, a Seattle native and acupuncturist, our two boys and young daughter. I am passionate about environmental activism and love hiking and camping with my family in the Cascade wilderness. I’m also learning how to ski, and am an avid fan of freestyle and written rap.

Glenda Smith

Glenda Smith

PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR

Glenda Smith is the Practice Administrator at Bellevue Ear Nose and Throat and has been with Proliance Surgeons since 2001. During her childhood in Wenatchee she was known for her curiosity and ability to make things work better (although her apple orchardist dad may not have always appreciated this as talent). Glenda finds healthcare is a perfect field for someone who likes managing change.

After rearing four children (twins in the middle), Glenda now spends her spare time traveling, hiking, choral singing and Zumba-ing.  She has a long list of places to see, hills to climb, and songs and dances to enjoy.
